There is still time to update the Longitudinal Study that our class has conducted every five years to chronicle how our lives are evolving – the only Harvard-Radcliffe Class to produce academic data about its life history. To produce the greatest quality result over the Longitudinal Study’s 50-plus year timeframe, everybody’s participation is encouraged. Instructions are provided below.
There are three pieces of information you will need to gain access to the survey:
1. Go directly to the secure survey website at: www.hr77longitudinal.org
2. Enter your 4-Digit Login Number.
3. Enter your 5- Digit Password.

Alison Clarkson and Will Gravenslund, Class of 1977, have initiated this year’s wave of activity with Jason Weeden and Melanie Green, both social psychologists. They oversaw the analysis of the study’s data for our 25th Reunion in 2002.
Confidentiality has always been one of our most important concerns when conducting the study. As we have in the past, every class member receives a unique login and password. In the past this was provided on the paper version you received. This year you are being asked to use your unique login and password above to access the survey’s website (we are finally moving from a paper world to electronics). A Longitudinal Study is more than a one-time survey. This type of study asks the same questions over and over at predictable points in time in order to track changes in life style, thinking, and values of a given population. Each wave of the study involves a mixture of repeated items from previous waves and new items that monitor the changing lives of the class members.
